What is Japanese Straightening?

Take hours off of your routine by cutting out the flat ironing process! There are many different results you can achieve by getting Japanese Straightening done. The most common use for Japanese Straightening is to permanently straighten your hair while achieving a soft and silky look. You can also use Japanese straightening to slightly relax your current curls, or semi-straighten your hair permanently. Japenese straightening works on all hair types including African American hair. Depending on your hair length and desired results, Japanese Straightening can take 2 to 5 hours. The average time is about 4 hours. You hair will look the way it does when you leave the salon permanently until your roots start to grow in. It is recommended that you return to the salon every 6 months to retouch your roots. Pricing depends on your hair length, you can get estimated prices off of our price list or send a picture of your hair to Nikki at GloSalonHair@gmail.com for a definite price.
